Ladies who lunch

One of my favourite things about working in Summerland is getting to go out for lunch with Amanda. When she rings or drops by to see me it brightens up my day and gives me something to look forward to. She may be an incredibly bad influence (she introduced me to these sinfully good macaroon madness things) but she really makes me laugh and make work days just that little bit more fun. Thanks Amanda for being a great luch buddy.

This one is for Adelle....hi Adelle. I think you're the coolest English girl i've ever met. I hope you stay in Canada and have babies here and we can all go to the beach together and then I won't be the only one (besides Angella) chasing after rugrats. I need to go to bed it's 12:15 and I'm still up. In fact, I'm wired and babbling on in the comments section of Adelles Blog. Sorry. No more Diet Dr Pepper late at night for me. It's a good thing I'm alone if the other girls were here we might start talking about boobs or something. Or worse... and you all know what I mean when I say worse...Don't you?

Goodnight.

Adele, the feeling is mutual. You have become a great friend and I am glad you don't mind my stalker-ish visits. I hope your visa comes through, or else I am going to have to stalk you in England. You'll be at work there, sipping on some Earl Gray, when all of a sudden you'll see this shadowy figure outside your office window. And it will be me. Peeping. Please don't make it come to that! Stay in Canada forever and let's raise our kids together and I hope yours will have cute little English accents and that my kids will develop English accents from hanging out with yours. C'mon! :)
